Contact, consultation and pricing – Schools

Please get in touch via email or phone and we’ll make contact to discuss the best approach to your enquiry (site visit / desktop quotation etc). Following a consultation you will receive a formal quote via email.

No, we don’t. We provide initial site visits and consultations free of charge to help you explore your options. Our goal is to provide you with a detailed quote so you can make an informed decision; there is no obligation to proceed until you are ready.

Yes, this can speed up the quoting process. Just email your enquiry with photos and basic dimensions. We can then call you to discuss your project goals and can usually provide a comprehensive quotation via email before coming out to visit you.

We primarily serve West Yorkshire and all its surrounding regions. This includes the major hubs of Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, and Wakefield, as well as neighbouring areas across South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire. If you are located nearby and aren’t sure if we cover your location, please get in touch – we are always happy to discuss projects across the North of England.

This depends on the scope of work. Small projects can be completed within 4 weeks from point of order, larger projects and those requiring in depth design work can take longer.

Design

No, not at this stage. We usually send a plan visual with our quotation to confirm exactly what we are pricing for and to ensure nothing has been missed. Once the order has been placed and we have received your brief, we get to work on your designs. We work closely with you to ensure we meet your brief and finally send visuals for you to review. Any amendments can then be made with your feedback before we reproof.

We focus on three pillars:

  1. Objective: What are you trying to achieve? (e.g., improve wayfinding, celebrate school history, or brighten a dark corridor).
  2. Aesthetics: What styles or themes appeal to you?
  3. Content: The specific text or messaging you want to include. We handle all image sourcing, so you don’t need to provide photos unless they are specific to your school.

Yes you can. This has proven to be a great money saving solution across all schools we work with, especially for wall art (history/geography/reading areas etc). We check with all clients before sharing designs and most are happy to do so, with the exception of school branding, pupil photos etc.

At this stage we have usually discussed timings for your installation, leaving just the finer details to be confirmed (specific day, time and site contacts etc).

Preparation

In some cases, yes. We will confirm this during the site survey and we will send you our wall preparation guide for site staff to follow.

Usually very little. On most occasions we will be replacing existing signage, and we handle the removal and disposal of your old signage. Ensuring clear access to certain areas on site is usually all we require.

Installation

Yes we can. This is usually the best option. We will liaise with you and your team to ensure we arrive and leave within your working hours, during school holidays and after school during term time.

Our installers will arrive at the scheduled time to transform your space. We ask that a point of contact be available to provide access.

Products and aftercare

We use premium, industrial-strength materials designed specifically for high-traffic environments like schools. These graphics are a long-term investment and are built to withstand daily use for many years.

Yes, material spec sheets are sent out upon request which detail fire ratings and other important product information.

Yes, we provide a six-month warranty covering material defects and workmanship. From experience, if no issues arise within the first few weeks of install, you can expect solid long-lasting results moving forward. If in any doubt just contact us and we will resolve any issues promptly and without hesitation. The materials we use are chosen for their extreme durability and we can provide references from other schools where our work has been in place for many years.

Maintenance is simple. You can wipe down the surfaces with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers to keep the finish looking new.

Because our designs are modular, we can usually replace specific sections or panels if they become damaged, often at a minimal cost. Colour variation with digital print can be an issue though.
